With Kokarda frisør in Oslo, I worked on a brand makeover. I designed a new look for the inside and outside of the salon and made a new logo, advertising, and social media content.
The inspiration for the logo and the new name for the business was the owner herself. Her nickname is "Kokarda," which translates to " the bow" in English. We picked a very gentle, girly color palette and played with the idea of the flower in the middle of the bow. The logo references the traditional Polish folk pattern she loves, becoming a theme for the studio's interior design. (2021)

The most significant transformation was the main wall in the salon.

Waiting area.
I am a big fan of sustainable thinking. So for this space, I found the new sofa on Finn.no and managed to sell the old chair there. I tried to reuse or if I couldn't resell the items in the salon. The long mirror was moved here from the main wall, and the side table I simply repositioned.

I also wanted to acknowledge the smallest customers, so I created a blackboard for them to draw on. When I realized misspelled title, we thought it was a cute kid-like mistake, so we let it be.

We wanted to make a statement in the entrance area that can be seen from the outside. The owner of Kokarda Frisør is known among her clients for her playful nature, so we gave her a selfie wall with good natural daylight and fun background. The price list can also be seen from the outside.

I moved some of the products closer to the cash register and made a price list above them.  We reused the shelves that previously were hanging in the entrance area and installed hooks underneath for hair accessories.
