Kunnskapskilden is a thrift shop offering a diverse range of art reproductions, books, and eclectic finds, but it needed a more shopper-friendly layout. As a dedicated second-hand enthusiast, I offered my visual merchandising skills to the owner during my time off due to COVID. This was my first hands-on experience outside of school, and I was excited to bring a fresh perspective to such a unique space.
While volunteering, I focused on creating distinct zones and organizing the assortment, finding clever ways to reuse and repurpose the existing pieces and store features. My goal was to enhance the store's layout and make the most of what was already there, enhancing the customer experience and ultimately turning visitors into buyers.
